Kenneth Vargas is a film producer, cinematographer, and editor based in Los Angeles. After discovering his passion for filmmaking at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, he further developed his visual design and technical skills at Pepperdine University where he majored in Screen Arts with a minor in Journalism. Upon receiving his Bachelor of Arts, Kenneth was awarded Outstanding Screen Arts Graduate by Pepperdine department faculty.

From producing over 20 narrative shorts, to podcast producing, to social media content creation, Kenneth’s versatile skillset allows him to work across various production environments, adapting his techniques to find the best visual language for each project.

As an LGBTQ+ latino filmmaker, Kenneth dedicates his work to highlighting stories that are inclusive, intimate, and freeing to the human experience. Through his work, he hopes audiences feel understood and challenged to view perspectives other than their own, being fully immersed through flawless editing and impeccable visual storytelling.
